Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

1. Papers should be written in Portuguese, English or Spanish in Word format, in Times New Roman font with 12 points and one and a half paragraph spacing. Formatting must comply with APA rules. Articles and case studies can have a maximum length of 40,000 characters, including spaces, abstracts, keywords, afiliation, figures, tables and graphs, notes, acknowledgments and bibliographical references.
2. All manuscripts must include the afiliation (no more than 4 lines) of the authors, i.e., institutional framework, e-mail and address for correspondence.
3. The works must include, in addition to the title in Portuguese and English, the abstract in Portuguese and the abstract in English, each one with no more than 1000 characters. The abstract should state the purpose of the work, the methodology followed, the results obtained and the conclusions presented.
4. Following the abstract, it is mandatory to include keywords, representative of the work (maximum of 5).
5. Papers should be ordered as follows: page with title in Portuguese and English, names and afiliation of the authors in Portuguese and English, abstract, keywords, development (content) , notes and acknowledgments, bibliographical references and attachments (only if necessary). Tables and figures must be numbered sequentaly.
6. The bibliographical references presented should be integrated in the text according to the rules of the APA (6th ed.), According to the system "last name, date" (i.e., Nunes, 2016). In the case of direct citations, the number of the page (s) (i.e., as referred to by Gomes (1995, p.62) "management ...") should be added.
7. The list of bibliographical references, mandatory and to be included at the end of the text, will be organized alphabetically and must obey the format of the APA rules (6th ed.). Examples:
Book: Strunk, W., Jr. & White, E.B. (1979). The guide to everything and then some more stuff. New York, NY: Macmillan.

8. The publication will depend on the double blind referee process of at least two experts in the respective area, members of the Review Board of the Journal. The Directors and Editorial Coordinators reserve the right not to publish the originals that the Review Board does not assign to an adequate level or which do not comply with the standards referred to herein. Authors will be advised of their publication within an estimated period of three to six months. Clues may be suggested for the improvement of the work. In each work will be indicated the dates of reception and acceptance.
9. The accepted manuscripts for publication are editorial property of Superavit. Any reproduction in whole or in part thereof may only be done after written authorization of the Directors or Editorial Coordinators and require reference to the Superavit. Authors will receive a free copy of the Superavit number in which their work is published.
